      I originally tried to get it in black but when I placed the order only brown was available so I ordered the brown. When it arrived, I was surprised to find a black table inside a box clearly labeled brown. This was okay as I really wanted the black however because of the way the legs were packed (the screw-in type), it must have punctured the tufted side of one of the trays. I have called Hayneedle and spoke with a helpful customer rep who would have contacted the vendor himself however they were not open yet so he said he would send them a msg that I would like to get just a replacement cover IN BLACK, but have heard nothing since. I really don't want to have to send it back but I'm not paying for damaged merchandise. Ive used cleaner to try to get rid of the musty odor. I really want to keep this piece! I hope they call me to rectify this and I will be happy!

        The ottoman would have been a nice addition to my living room if it hadn't arrived damaged; the wood on the tray/cushion was chipped on all corners. I ordered another one after returning the 1st and asked them to open the box before it was shipped to me. When I opened it I noticed the cushion was damaged on the "leather" side and I could see where the wood corners were damaged and painted over. I will return this one and not purchase anything else from this company.

              The first ottoman I received was damaged at the bottom on the material so it had to be sent back and replaced The replacement ottoman had paint chipped off and needed to be touched up in numerous places. Since the ottoman was reasonably price and I was offered a credit to purchase a touch up kit I kept the second ottoman. It is great for storage and the tray side is nice for a coffee table. I don't know how well it will hold up but I do like it and it is quite useful.
