We needed a tray table so that when I spent time with my husband in his office I would have a place to put drinks and snacks without having to use his desk which was inconvenient to the location of the couch. This ottoman is perfect for that use and is very comfortable as a footrest as well. Very attractive and good quality. Very pleased!!

A very nice piece in every way. A rich, dark brown color in a good grade leather, just as it appeared to me online, heavy/solid (minor quibble: place it where you don't need to move it much due to weight). Discovered that the tray feature isn't as useful as I'd expected: I like to eat with my feet up & you can't do both. For that reason, and for much less $$ & only a step or two down in quality, consider the Distinctions ottoman set on this same site, so you can keep your feet on the small, light unit while using the tray on the larger, more solid unit. Or get two of these.

Product is perfect for living room. Provides all the functions of a small coffee table, foot stool, storage unit, and extra seating with out the bulk. Can easily be moved and since it is padded does not hurt you or children if you are clumsy!
